ABOUT ME

My name is Marta and I’m a Concept Artist and Illustrator based in Madrid, Spain!

When I’m not working on my latest projects or commissions for clients, you can likely find me getting lost in some videogame world. Zelda and overall Nintendo games have been a great inspiration ever since I was really young. I’ve been playing games ever since I can remember and most likely even before that, so it’s no surprise that in my first year of high school I already knew I wanted to be a Concept Artist. Other inspirations come mostly from the internet; from other artists that I admire (and also stare at their work in awe for abnormal amounts of time).

I am a self-taught artist, at least before college. For over a decade now, I've been immersed in the world of digital creation, researching and practicing the ins and outs of illustration and concept art. It's been a journey filled with late-night drawing sessions, countless tutorials, and endless experimentation - all driven by the desire to keep improving every day. I have mastered my time management to be able to productively create artworks while making sure to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Aside from all my personal progress, advice and feedback from professionals is something I’m comfortable with and has allowed me to grow even further as not only an artist; but a professional too.

But art for me isn't just about personal expression; it's also about making a positive impact. That's why I've eagerly jumped at the chance to collaborate on various charity zines over the years. There's something truly special about using my creativity to give back to the community, whether it's through raising funds for a good cause or simply bringing joy to others through my art. All the money we make directly goes to a fundraiser of the group’s choosing. I’ve done the role of Page Artist, Merch Artist all the way to Host and Moderator. Currently have been on 20+ and counting!
